Terra-cotta oil lamp, 3rd-2nd century B.C.E. Provenance: Syro-Palestinian. Buff clay with reddish-brown glaze. Open lamp curving sides, narrow rim, central open socket which is higher than the rim. Condition: fine with some chips in rim. 4.7 cm length, 3.3 cm height. JPG file (124 KB).
