  • Postcard from Tuskegee Institute Chapel in Tuskegee, Alabama. Text on the back of postcard reads: "The Institute Chapel stands on a site that immediately commands the attention of all visitors. The plan is that of a Greek cross, with its extreme dimensions 154 by 106 feet. The beauty of the interior is enhanced by delicate tints of light, diffused by the tall stained glass windows. The three great chancel windows illustrate a group of Negro spirituals. The seating capacity of the chapel is 3000."
