Contributing Institution: Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Library Description: String of faience beads with amulet, Second Intermediate Period (1786-1567 B.C.E.). Egypt. Light green amulet at its center, and 4 light green faience incised beads spaced at intervals of approximately 10 cm on either side of the amulet (2 on each side), other beads range in color from drab to rust to umber. Average size diameter of bead is 2-4 mm, string of beads is 63 cm long. Condition: very fine. JPG file (111 KB). -
