Date: 1958 Contributing Institution: Columbia Theological Seminary John Bulow Campbell Library Description: Italian Lourdes St. Bernadette rosary made of alpaca silver and clear Lucite beads with encased figures of Mary and Jesus.<br><br>The ave beads are clear Lucite bubbles with encased blue figures of Mary. The heart shaped Lucite pater beads each have an encased blue image of Jesus with the sacred heart. The crucifix is decorated by four blue roses at all ends of the cross. A crown of thorns, the letters JHS, and the INRI scroll lie in the background above the head of Christ corpus. <br><br>Inscriptions include "Je suis l'immaculee conception" / "Lourdes" and a metal hang tag reading, "Brevetto Italy N 585850."
