In this sermon, Reverend Dorr offers his thoughts on Ephesians 6:13, "Wherefore, take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." The inside front cover notes nine dates Reverend Dorr delivered this sermon, from 1850 to 1862, when he preached at the headquarters of the Army of the Potomac, with Major General Meade present.
